Henious crime: PHC rejects bail of accused in acid attack case
The burned victim was taken to Khyber Teaching Hospital.
PESHAWAR:
The Peshawar High Court on Wednesday refused to grant bail to two suspects involved in an acid attack.
Chief Justice Dost Muhammad Khan, during the hearing, was informed Amjid and his sister Samina threw acid on Mashada and then set her on fire on May 23.
The burned victim was taken to Khyber Teaching Hospital in a critical condition and later succumbed to her injuries.
A lower court had earlier rejected bail application of the two siblings, after which they requested the PHC to grant them bail.
The court, however, did not accept their application and ordered to keep the accused behind bars.
