Acid attack: LHC demands challan in three days
The LHC had taken notice of a media report regarding a 16-year old girl who was attacked with acid in Cavalry Ground.

Lahore High Court Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial on Monday ordered the district and sessions judge to ensure the submission of a challan in an acid attack on a teenage girl in three days. The chief justice also sought a report from the judge after the challan is submitted for the sake of transparency. The LHC had taken notice of a media report regarding a 16-year old girl who was attacked with acid in Cavalry Ground. In a previous report, the district and sessions judge had said that a case had been registered against two unidentified people on the girl’s father’s complaint. So far, the complainant, witnesses and victim have not been able to identify the culprit. He said that the investigation officer had been directed to collect evidence and locate the suspects. The challan would be submitted before the court at the earliest, he has said.
