Potshots: Ghulam Bilour takes a jibe at PTI chief Imran Khan
Bilour termed the rain-related chaos a failure of the previous and incumbent governments.
PESHAWAR:
Former federal minister and ANP leader Ghulam Bilour on Saturday said the representative the people of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) voted for is living in Mianwali and they will be washed away before he even arrives in Peshawar.
Talking to journalists during his visit to flood-affected areas in the suburbs of the city, Bilour said he agreed with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s statement about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan requiring psychological help along with treatment for his back injury.
“The public representative is living in Mianwali; PTI’s change has not crossed Attock yet,” he said in a reference to Imran Khan, who defeated Bilour on the NA-1 seat, only to forfeit it later for another national assembly seat.
Bilour termed the rain-related chaos a failure of the previous and incumbent governments, saying if a little rain can prove disastrous for Peshawar then they have failed to devise an effective strategy.
He added no planning is carried out to fix the sewerage system of the city, causing the city to flood. Interestingly, Bilour himself is a stalwart of the ANP which was in power in K-P prior to the PTI-led coalition.
