Ten out of ten for Raikkonen: Boullier
Lotus team boss praises Finn driver for consistent performance.
Lotus team principal Eric Boullier has declared Kimi Raikkonen’s feats in the first-half of the current year a ‘ten out of ten’ performance, according to ESPNF1.
Formula One broke up for summer with Raikkonen second in the drivers’ championship with one win and a gap of 38 points to championship leader Sebastian Vettel.
He scored points at every round this season, with his worst result coming at the Monaco Grand Prix where he collided with McLaren’s Sergio Perez and then overtook several cars to claim one point for his 10th place in the race.
“I would have to give Kimi ten out of ten,” said Boullier. “He’s done a terrific job right from the beginning of the season and his remarkable run of 27 consecutive points finishes speaks for itself. He ‘s playing a big part in pushing the team forward.”
