Call for solidarity : Friday to be observed as Al-Quds Day
Shia organisations have decided to observe the last Friday of the holy month of Ramazan as “Al-Quds Day”.

In an expression of solidarity with Palestinians, Shia organisations have decided to observe the last Friday of the holy month of Ramazan as “Al-Quds Day”. “All residents of Karachi, irrespective of their ethnicity and sect, should observe the Al-Quds Day to mark solidarity and support with the Palestine problem,” said Allama Deedar Jalbani of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen in a joint press conference on Thursday. Allama Jalbani announced that the main rally on the day will be held from Numaish Chowrangi to Tibet Centre after Friday prayers on Ramazan 23.
