Law mandates should belong to the same union councils where the work is carried out.
PESHAWAR:
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists from Karak and Shakardara areas of Kohat on Wednesday demanded authorities to remove an Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) contractor.
Talking to reporters at the Peshawar Press Club, Mohammad Irshad and Javed said OGDCL labour contract for the union councils of Shakardara Darra urban, Shakardara Darra rural, Tola Bhangi Khel, Sodal and Sabirabad areas has been awarded to Mohammad Imran, a non-local labour contractor. They added the law mandates should belong to the same union councils where the work is carried out. They also alleged the contract was awarded illegally as the contractor was not a resident of the area and was involved in corruption.
