MNA Rana Muhammad Afzal Khan has been elected as the chairman of the Faisalabad Waste Management Company (FWMC). The announcement was made in a meeting of the FWMC board of directors at the DCO’s office on Monday. Khan’s name was proposed by Federal Minister of State for Water and Power Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali. Later, the new chairman presided over a meeting of the board of directors. DCO Najam Ahmad Shah briefed Khan about the aims and objectives of the company. The participants discussed the company’s budget, strategy for recruitment, and the organisational setup of the company.
