Old rivalry: Man shot dead

VEHARI: A man was shot dead on Sunday over an old enmity in Machiwal police area. Police said Liaqat, a resident of Chak 4-WB, had a dispute with Rizwan, Mukhtar and Irfan of the same village. On Sunday, he had an argument with the three suspects, who shot him and fled. Liaqat died on the spot. The family placed the body on Burewala Road and staged a protest demonstration. They demanded that the police arrest the assailants at the earliest.
