Ayla was to be fielded as a PTI candidate for by-election from NA-71 after party chairman Imran Khan vacated the seat, keeping his Rawalpindi seat.
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Rawalpindi, had declared her intermediate certificate ‘bogus’ on July 20 that carries the roll number of a male candidate named Imdad Hussain, who too had failed.
A probe was conducted after a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) petitioner and candidate Obaidullah Shadikhel brought Malik's credentials to the court’s notice.
Similarly, PTI MNA Ghulam Sarwar Khan’s party membership was suspended after being found with a fake degree.

Not a PTI fan but they are handling the fake degrees better than the rest. Obviously it is not an ideal situation.
PTI, no matter what you do to find educated and honest candidate make sure you keep depriving Fouzia K a ticket. I am not surprised that these people are pretending to be educated and honest. There is no condition of having a degree in the constitution. That was introduced by Mush and with him it is gone according to SC. There is no need to lie anymore.

Sad as she would've been one of the very few elected women in Pakistani parliament. Its a shame to see the attitude of male commentators on her outlook when there is enough room for non gender specific criticism.

Why does a prospective candidate for political office need any university Degree ?
Thousands of degree holders have no political or administrative ability .
Her Wikipedia page states that: Born in Mianwali, Ayla received her early education from Lahore and did her General Certificate of Secondary Education (O-Level) from Froebel's International School. She did her Bachelor’s degree from Islamabad College for Girls where she studied English Literature, Journalism and Sociology and graduated in Economics from Moscow State University. So which education certificate is fake?

She could have sat the examination and cleared it before fighting the elections. Its not that difficult- is it?

A lot of blame on PTI. PTI has suspended people in the past. I believe they should be expelled from the party. All parties have had liars in their ranks.

Cheating is a dumb thing to do, telling lies is even dumber thing to do and getting caught doing such dumb things is the dumbest thing to do. Now, you can guess how should this Ayla Malik be rated. Pakistan Threek-e-Insaaf proved itself even dumber than this tricky woman to fall for such a characterless individual Ayla whatever. I hate to admit I expected better from PTI than failing in its selection of good people for our legislature and help make good laws for our common good and I hate to admit my apprehensions about them, if they can't even present a few good quality people how can they be given responsibilities to run the affairs of the State.
Sad news she did worked hard as election campaign manager in Mianwali regardless of that she should be suspended and fined by the party. Party ticket should be given to Hafeez Ullah Niazi he is much better.
