Arshad Pappu murder case: Uzair Baloch escapes police raid at residence in Lyari
According to MPA Javed Nagori, a police officer had warned Uzair Jan Baloch of the raid before it took place.

Following the Sindh High Court chief justice's order to arrest Uzair Baloch, police officials conducted an unsuccessful raid at the proclaimed offender’s house in Lyari, Express News reported on Saturday.
Amn Committee leader Baloch was able to flee from the scene, leaving the police visibly frustrated and embarrassed. To show that work had been done, police officials threw furniture around in Baloch’s house despite his absence.
According to MPA Javed Nagori, a police officer had warned Baloch of the raid before it took place.
Following news of the raid, residents of the area assembled outside Baloch’s house and chanted slogans against police officials.
On April 24, nearly 300 Rangers personnel conducted an unsuccessful raid at the same residence as part of the operation against target killings in Lyari.
Uzair Baloch, Habib Jan Baloch, Noor Muhammad alias Baba Ladla and six others facing the murder trial of Arshad Pappu, his brother and a confidant were declared proclaimed offenders by the Anti-Terrorism Court on July 24. The court ordered to seize their movable and immoveable property.
Alleged Lyari gangster Arshad Pappu, his brother, Yasir Arafat, and their confidant, Juma Shera, were killed on the night of March 16.
