Inflation: Index up 0.34% during week
The SPI for the week under review the lowest income group was recorded at 195.99.
ISLAMABAD:
The Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI), for the week ended July 25 has registered an increase of 0.34% over the previous week for the lowest income group. The SPI for the week under review for the above mentioned group was recorded at 195.99 points against 195.33 points registered in the previous week, according to provisional figures from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. During the week under review, average prices of indexed items changed as follows: 9 items registered a decrease, 18 items increased and the remaining 26 items’ prices remained unchanged.
