Sukkur Attack: Security beefed up in govt offices

Additional force has been deployed at sensitive buildings to avert any eventuality.

QUETTA: Following the deadly attack in Sukkur, security has been beefed up in Quetta to avoid any untoward incident, official sources in the police department said on Thursday. They said that additional force has been deployed at sensitive buildings in the provincial capital to avert any eventuality. People at all exit and entry points are being checked. Law enforcement personnel deployed for the security of religious places in Quetta have been directed to remain vigilant. About 900 youth have been recruited recently in the police department enabling LEAs to contain crimes.
