LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge has acquitted three men and a woman of a murder charge as the prosecution was unable to establish their guilt.  Sameer and Aftab, who had been in jail, and Abdul Hanan and Rifat, who had been on bail, were found not guilty of the murder of Aftab. His wife Ulfat Bibi had been the complainant in the case, which was registered at Sattukatla police station against unidentified accused. Ulfat Bibi said that her husband had told her one night to go stay at her sister’s house as some of his friends were coming over and would stay the night. The next day, a neighbour told her that her husband had been shot dead.
