KOHAT:

A man and two women were injured when unidentified militants lobbed a hand grenade inside a house in Togh area during Sehr.

Javed Hussain, an official of Saddar police, said he was eating when he was informed that an explosion has occurred at the residence of Rafiq Khan, an internally displaced person from Orakzai, in Zahori Bhanda area.

Rafiq Khan told the police he along with his wife, Marawar Jana, and sister-in-law, Misal Jana, were eating in the garden when a motorcycle stopped outside the gate and threw something over the wall which exploded and injured the three of them severely.

The injured were taken to Liaqat Memorial Hospital in Kohat where their condition is now stable.

Police said Khan had a tribal feud back in his area and speculated this was the motive behind the attack.
