War Crimes: Jamaat protests BD court sentences
It was a pity that no one in Pakistan, neither the media nor the government, is willing to raise its voice.

Dozens of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) activists gathered outside a mosque on Friday to protest what they called ‘judicial terrorism’ against the leaders of their party’s Bangladesh chapter. Protesters demanded that the Bangladesh government declare the jail and death sentences awarded to JI-Bangladesh leaders as null and void. Mian Muhammad Aslam, JI Punjab vice president said Prof Azam’s only crime was that he had opposed the creation of Bangladesh and worked to preserve the territorial integrity of Pakistan in 1971. It was a pity that no one in Pakistan, neither the media nor the government, is willing to raise its voice for leaders who have worked for Pakistan’s sovereignty.
