KARACHI:
A bench of the Sindh High Court, headed by Justice Ghulam Sarwar Korai, on Friday dismissed the bail application filed by a forwarding and clearing agent.
Muhammad Imran had gone to the court to plead for bail before arrest as the National Accountability Bureau (Nab) officials were looking to detain him over his alleged involvement in the missing Nato containers scam.
The Supreme Court had taken suo motu notice of reports on the missing containers meant to supply logistics to the Isaf-Nato forces fighting in Afghanistan.
The apex court had ordered Nab to investigate the scam. Imran claimed that he merely ran a goods forwarding and clearing agency and had nothing to do with the scam.
