Withdrawing papers: Khanpur seat vacated for PPP

An independent candidate for PS-12 Khanpur has withdrawn his candidature in support of the PPP.

SHIKARPUR: An independent candidate for PS-12 Khanpur, Mir Amanullah Khan Pahore, has withdrawn his candidature in support of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate, Mir Abid Khan Bhayo. He announced this at an Iftar party organised by him on Wednesday evening. Sardar Moeen Khan Pahore, Safdar Khan Pahore and other notables belonging to Pahore community also announced their support to Bhayo in the PS-12 re-election to be held on August 22. Bhayo, who is also PPP district president, thanked Mir Amanullah Khan Pahore for withdrawing his papers. He further thanked other notables of Pahore community for supporting him in the re-elections.
