Missing person case: IHC summons Margalla SHO
The police have so far failed to trace the whereabouts of the missing man.

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday summoned Margalla station house officer (SHO) to appear before the court in a missing person’s case.
The petitioner, Aamira Riaz, requested the court to help recover her son, who went missing from the jurisdiction of Margalla police on January 12.
Naming secretary interior, director general (DG) ISI, DG Intelligence Bureau, Inspector General of Islamabad Police, DG FIA and Margalla SHO as respondents, the petitioner sought the recovery of her son, Qazi Muhammad Ibrahim.
The petitioner’s counsel, advocate Sardar Muhammad Tariq maintained that Ibrahim was kidnapped when he left for PWD Housing Society.
He said that the Margalla police have so far failed to recover him despite lodging of the FIR.
He said that his client’s son had no enmity with anyone and since his kidnapping, the family including his wife and two minor daughters had been in distress.
The petitioner’s counsel said the family believed he might have been picked up by intelligence agencies. “If he is in their custody, the family should be apprised of his whereabouts.”
IHC Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui, after listening to the argument of the petitioner’s counsel, directed Margalla SHO Tanveer Abbasi to appear before the court in person on Friday.
