Remote-controlled blast: Explosion outside mosque kills two in Kohat
The explosives were strapped to a motorbike.

A blast outside a mosque killed two men and injured another three on the first day of Ramazan in Kacha Pakka, which falls in the suburbs of Kohat.
The explosives were strapped to a motorbike, said DSP Mushtaq Hussain, adding the explosion occurred at 1:35pm on Thursday. “My brother who had gone for prayers to the mosque called me and said there has been an explosion.”
Hussain added that unidentified militants had detonated the bomb with a remote control as soon as people stepped out from the mosque.
The dead were identified as Zahir Hussain and Hamid Raza, while the injured were shifted to Kohat Divisional Hospital. They were identified as Waqar Haider, Nijat Ali and Mubeen Ahmad. According to the bomb disposal squad, four kilogrammes of explosives were used in the device.
