Readying for Ramazan: Security, other arrangements reviewed
Ahmed said traders of sabzi mandi have been asked to double supply of food during the first 10 days of Ramazan.

Security arrangements for Ramazan were reviewed at a meeting chaired by Chief Commissioner Islamabad Jawad Paul on Tuesday. The meeting was attended by religious leaders of different schools of thought, Islamabad IGP Bani Amin Khan and Deputy Commissioner Aamer Ali Ahmed. Paul directed officials to ensure strict implementation of Ehtram-e-Ramazan Ordinance in Islamabad and to deal with violators under the law, adding that cinema closure timings from Iftar to Tarawih prayers be observed in letter and spirit. Ahmed said traders of sabzi mandi have been asked to double supply of food during the first 10 days of Ramazan to facilitate consumers.
