Ahead of the monsoon season, Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) has put into force its Rain Emergency Plan-2013 to improve its capability to restore power.
A statement on Tuesday said that KESC intends to manage the increased workload as a consequence of rains through effective coordination.
It said that the power utility has advised the general public to keep away from fallen wires and wet electric installations.
