Khursheed Shah recommended names of Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza and Justice (retd) Rana Bhagwandas.
A response letter containing the names will be forwarded to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday.
On Thursday, the opposition leader had said that nominations for the post of chairman NAB would be forwarded to the government once the prime minister returns from China.
Nawaz had earlier recommended two names – Justice Rehmat Hussain Jaffery and former federal secretary Khwaja Zahiruddin Ahmed – as suitable replacements for Admiral (retd) Fasih Bukhari who was removed from his post on Supreme Court’s directives.
The Supreme Court had earlier expressed displeasure over the non-appointment of NAB chief despite court orders.
Admiral Bokhari was removed on May 29 and his appointment was declared illegal by the apex court.

Justice Bhagwandas is ideal person to hold people accountable for all the wrongs they did and all the damage their actions caused not only to the whole of our economy, financial systems but also our national psyche. This really is a great choice and with reasonable certainty to be above & beyond party lines as one can hardly imagine anyone suspecting a motive or an agenda here. My hope is that Justice Rana Bhagwandas accepts this responsibility and does one more great act of public service and oblige his nation and his Pakistan.
Justice (R) Rana Bhagwanadas is the most suitable persone for the position. His honesty and willingness to stop any wrong has been widely recognized as well. But I dont think he would be chosen as everyone in the politics knows that he would even not allow those ruling to do any corruption
Bhagwandas a controversial figure !! As head of FPSC he was no good and never raised voice against the wrong doings ! REJECTED - NEXT PLEASE
Justice (R) Bhagwandas can be an ideal choice. He has proved his neutrality throughout his stay in judiciary. This will also boost morale for minorities. I hope NS chose him.
