Sindh government has decided to start the Rescue 1122 service with immediate effect.
Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah would monitor the whole project, said a CM House statement on Sunday evening.
It said that Shah had chaired two meetings on the project and he is also consulting his cabinet.
Shah said that the project was initiated under the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari.
