Postings and transfers: Nearly a dozen BS-21 officers moved around
Climate Change Division joint secretary promoted to grade-21.
ISLAMABAD:
Almost a dozen bureaucrats were moved around by the government on Friday. Climate Change Division Joint Secretary Muhammad Ashraf has been promoted to grade-21 and posted as National Disaster Management Authority member, while Federal Ombudsman Karachi Regional Office Director General Rabia Adila Javeria has been posted as Trade Development Authority Pakistan secretary.
Establishment Division Additional Secretary Allah Baksh Malik has been posted as National Tariff Commission member. Munir Ahmed, a BS-21 Pakistan Administrative Service officer presently an officer on special duty (OSD) in the Establishment Division, has been deputed to the Government of Balochistan.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Agriculture Research Council Finance Member Zahoor Ahmed Khan has been moved to the Establishment Division as an OSD. Hussain Qarar Khawaja and Khadim Hussain Bhatti, both BS-21 officers of Police Service of Pakistan serving in the Intelligence Bureau (IB), have also been moved to the Establishment Division as OSDs, as has National Police Bureau Director General Anwer Virk.
The transfer orders for Khalid Qureshi from Federal Investigation Agency Additional Director General to IB have been cancelled. Qureshi will remain at his current post.
Transfer orders for Muhammad Salman Khan as National Institute of Management Peshawar director general have also been cancelled, with Khan, a BS-20 Secretariat Group officer, remaining at his current post as Establishment Division joint secretary.
Shaukat Hayat, a BS-21 Police Service of Pakistan officer presently on deputation with the Government of Sindh, has been transferred and deputed to the Government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
Information Technology Joint Secretary Ali Asghar has been posted as Prime Minister’s Office joint secretary, replacing Fida Muhammad, who was repatriated to his parent department of the Auditor General of Pakistan.
