Aslam to lead Pakistan U19 in England

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the U19 squad that will travel to England ahead of the One-Day Tri-nation Series starting later this month.
The team announcement was delayed due to the suspension of Zaka Ashraf as PCB chairman.
However, the team that was finalised by the Iqbal Qasim-led selection committee – dissolved after resignation from the chief selector on Thursday – was finalised after approval from the interim chairman Najam Sethi.
Left-handed opening batsman Sami Aslam was named captain of the side that will contest a three-nation event featuring Bangladesh and the hosts.
The squad includes Aslam, Imran Butt, Hussain Talat, Imamul Haq, Zafar Gohar, Ziaul Haq, Awais Muneer, Muhammad Aftab, Hassan Raza, Rafay Ahmad, Saud Shakeel, Shayan Jahangir, Kamran Ghulam, Nauman Akram and Saifullah Khan (wicket-keeper).
