Hamza Shahbaz reviews Bahalwapur’s Ramazan preparations

BAHAWALPUR:
MNA Hamza Shahbaz on Friday said that steady supply of food items would be ensured across the province with a subsidy of Rs3.25 billion during Ramazan.
At a meeting for reviewing Ramazan arrangements, Hamza said that provision of essential food items and their prices would be strictly monitored.
He said price control would remain a top priority of the government during the holy month.
He urged party workers and officials to work together to make Ramazan bazaars and Ramazan dastarkhawans successful.
Briefing the meeting, Commissioner Asad Ullah Khan said that 30 Ramazan bazaars had been established across Bahawalpur where consumers would be provided necessary food items at low prices. He said 9 Ramazan bazaars would be set up in Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan each.
He added that cheap flour would be made available in 182 locations in Bahawalpur district, 100 in Bahawalnagar district and 226 in Rahim Yar Khan district. He said that fair price shops would be established at 256 locations where 10kg flour bags would be available at the price of Rs 315.
