Saudi Labour Laws: Govt welcomes amnesty extension
King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz has extended the grace period till November 4.

Pakistan on Thursday welcomed the extension of the grace period for thousands of Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia to correct their resident and labour status in accordance with the new labour laws of Saudi Arabia. A Foreign Office spokesman in a statement said that King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz has extended the grace period till November 4. He said the Pakistani community in the Kingdom has been contributing to the development of Saudi Arabia.
