Crime: Man kills lover’s husband

BAHAWALPUR:

A man was killed allegedly on Sunday by his wife’s lover. According to an FIR registered at Rahim Yar Khan police station, Rab Nawaz killed Younas when the latter accused him of breaking into his house to visit his wife. Kausar Parveen, sister of the deceased, nominated Rab Nawaz in her complaint.

She alleged that he had had illicit relations with her brother’s wife. On Sunday night, when Rab Nawaz was visiting her, Younas confronted him. Rab Nawaz shot him. The police are looking for the suspect.

Elsewhere in Sadiqabad, a man allegedly killed his sister by choking her on suspicion of having illicit relations. Akbari Begum, the victim’s grandmother, filed a complaint with Saddar police, alleging that Salman had strangled his sister on Sunday for getting pregnant out of wedlock and fled.
