Targeting Hazara: Protest against hate literature

Addressing the protesters, Reehana Hazara said, “We consider it genocide."

QUETTA:
Hazara Democratic Party’s (HDP) women’s wing staged a demonstration at the Quetta Press Club on Tuesday to demand a ban on all controversial literature that spreads sectarianism.

Protesters chanted slogans against the killing of innocent Hazaras and demanded a targeted operation against those responsible for such attacks.

Addressing the protesters, Reehana Hazara said, “We consider it genocide.

We don’t understand how the suicide bomber could achieve his target in a tight security area,” Reehana said.

However, she welcomed the solidarity of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch with the Hazara community.
