‘Revenge’: Four of a family killed
Police believe they were shot by people who had registered a murder case last year against two of the deceased.

Three siblings and an infant were shot and killed on Tuesday in Shakargarh tehsil. A passerby was injured. The deceased had been on their way to court. Police believe they were shot by people who had registered a murder case last year against two of the deceased, Israr Khan and Sajid Khan. The brothers were accused of killing one Ghaffar Khan. Police said the men had recently been released on bail and that Ghaffar Khan’s family had been unhappy with the decision. Israr, Sajid, their sister and Israr’s son had been on their way to court on Tuesday when men on a motorbike fired at them. The three siblings died on the spot and the child at the hospital.
