If cases can be opened against Zardari, they can be opened against Altaf too: Afaq
MQM-H chief says MQM is facing a lot of problems and the in-fighting may hurt Mohajirs.
KARACHI:
Muhajir Qaumi Movement - Haqiqi (MQM-H) chief Afaq Ahmed on Tuesday said that if the federal government can reopen cases against President Asif Ali Zardari, it can also open cases against Altaf Hussain, Express News reported.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, Afaq urged the British government to take the Imran Farooq investigation to its logical conclusion.
The MQM-H chief also said that the money being looted from Karachi and extradited to London should be investigated.
Afaq added that while his group had the resources to respond to acts of terrorism, he did not want a conflict. He said that the MQM is currently facing a lot of problems, including in-fighting and this will harm the Mohajirs.
