Bill Gates reiterates support for eradicating polio in Pakistan
Nawaz Sharif reiterated the government's resolve to eradicate the disease from the country.

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Monday night assuring him of support for the ongoing polio eradication drive happening in the country, Radio Pakistan reported.
In response, PM Sharif expressed strong resolve on his government's part to eradicate polio from Pakistan and welcomed the offer.
Gates assured him of support from Bill Gates and Melinda Foundation.
Earlier, Gates had contacted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, seeking his assistance in eradicating polio from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
Gates had expressed confidence that the new government in Pakistan would focus on the immunisation and eradication of fatal diseases including polio.
