ISLAMABAD:
In its attempt to gather data regarding domestic workers in the federal capital, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued registration forms to the residents of Islamabad, Express News reported on Monday.
On the orders of the Ministry of Interior, Nadra will be collecting data about people employed across the city as domestic helpers.
The form, which needs to be filled and submitted in four days, asks questions related to the employee’s nationality, nature of the work and other personal details. The Afghan nationals will have to give their proof of registration (PoR) card number.
Nadra teams have started their survey and are expected to get all the forms filled in next four days.
The registration is currently for the domestic workers in Islamabad but the program is likely to be extended to Punjab and Balochistan.
The interior ministry said it can expand the program to other provinces at the request of respective provincial governments.
