Vital Two new CT scan machines for Pindi

Following the special directives of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, the provincial health department is making efforts for installation of CT scan machines in two teaching hospitals of Rawalpindi.
According to a health department official, the machines will be installed within a couple of months.
The process for purchasing the CT scan machine for Benazir Bhutto Hospital is almost complete whereas the machine for Holy Family Hospital has been purchased for Rs53.8 million, he said. With the installation of these two machines, 70 per cent of the burden on the city’s lone CT scan machine operating in the District Headquarters Hospital will lessen.
This step will help patients in getting better treatment facilities from government hospitals of the city, he added.
