A newborn baby girl was found in the cradle of Chhipa Welfare Association in Orangi Town, after her parents abandoned her.
The owner of the organisation, Ramzan Chippa, said that after a complete check-up, the doctors declared her healthy.
The baby would be kept under observation for 48 hours, after which she could be put up for adoption.
“We will carry out an investigation on the whereabouts and the character of the couple before handing over the baby to them.”
