Lawyers in Balochistan boycotted all court proceedings in protest against the attack on Justice Maqbool Baqir of Sindh High Court.
According to details, Balochistan Bar Association, High Court Bar Association and other lawyers announced their members would boycott all proceedings of the courts against the bomb attack on the judge. Black flags were hoisted on the premises of the courtrooms while the courts remain deserted.
Talking to media, the Balochistan Bar Association president Rehmat Bareech said that earlier only the lawyers were attacked but now the militants were attacking justices’ which was condemnable.
“If such incidents don’t stop, the judiciary will not be in a position to provide justice to the ordinary man,” he said
