Cylinder blast: One killed, 40 fall unconscious in Thull

Most of the injured were shifted to taluka hospital while five were shifted to Larkana Hospital in critical condition.

SUKKUR: A man was killed and 40 others fell unconscious when an ammonia cylinder exploded in Thull on Thursday.

The blast took place in an ice factory in Baloch Colony and since the area is thickly populated many people, including women and children, were affected by the gas leak.

The deceased was identified as Talib Hussain Buriro who reportedly received fatal injuries from the cylinder pieces and died on the spot.

Most of the injured were shifted to the taluka hospital while five were shifted to Larkana Hospital in critical condition.
