ADB assistance: AJK-G-B highway to cut travel time
Highway to cut travelling time by 800km.
ISLAMABAD:
The construction of a highway between Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) across the mountainous region will cut the travelling time by 800 kilometres, said National Highway Authority chief Hamid Ali Khan talking to the media while on tour of Islamabad-Kohala Road on Tuesday. Khan said the road schemes in AJK were under way at the cost of Rs800 million with the cooperation of the Asian Development Bank.
