Altaf terms TTP 'most cowardly group' in the world
MQM chief says killing of innocent people with sophisticated weapons was an unmitigated act of cowardice.

Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Friday appealed to the United Nations and the government of Pakistan to declare the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) as the most cowardly group in the world.
In a statement issued on Friday, after MQM MPA Sajid Qureshi, and his son was gunned down in Karachi, Altaf appealed to the people of Pakistan to raise their voice against the brutal killings.
The MQM chief said that the Taliban were the most cowardly group of people on the face of the earth who were ambushing and killing innocent people. He said that there were some established norms in the world about wars. However, the killing of innocent people with sophisticated weapons was an unmitigated act of cowardice.
Altaf said that no leniency should be shown to the bloodthirsty killers and every effort should be made to protect the life and property of common people. He urged the people to rise above their political differences and take part in protest demonstrations for making it clear to the world that Pakistan is a country of peace-loving and democratic people.
