“Clean And Green Islamabad”: First phase of campaign concludes
The next CDA budget would focus on more allocation for civic-related issues, says CDA Chairman.

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Thursday completed its first phase of “clean and green Islamabad” campaign which began from Sector I-10 and culminated in Sector G-6. “The credit for the successful campaign goes to the residents, traders, civil society, senior citizens and the students,” CDA Chairman Syed Tahir Shahbaz said in a statement. He said that the purpose of the healthy activity was to make direct and effective coordination between CDA officials and the public. The CDA chairman pointed out that during the first phase of the campaign, they came to know about basic issues facing the people in all sectors of Islamabad. He said that in light of this experience and feedback received during the campaign, the next CDA budget would focus on more allocation for civic-related issues.
