A district and sessions judge has summoned the Harbanspura SHO on a petition filed by a woman seeking to prosecute six men – including her husband – for allegedly forcing her daughters into prostitution.
Zarina Bibi is accusing her husband Hussain and his five brothers of forcing her and her daughters to prostitute themselves, beating and threatening to sell or kill them when they refused.
Bibi said the SHO didn't pay attention to her complaints.
She asked the court to order the officer to register an FIR.
