The event aims to help strengthen the capacity of education and incorporate effective counselling practices.

KARACHI:
The British Council’s Education UK programme is hosting a two-day Career Counsellor’s Symposium at the Bahria University auditorium which ends today.

The event aims to help strengthen the capacity of education and incorporate effective counselling practices within the education system in the country.

The symposium, attended by prominent members of the education and corporate sectors, provided an opportunity for professional development to counsellors while offering them a chance to network with colleagues from across Pakistan.

Speaking at the event, Education UK head, Nadia Kamran, emphasised the need of career counselling, saying that the symposium was an initiative to help Pakistani students towards better prospects.
