Earlier, the government had not named the cabinet and in absence of a finance minister, CM was to present the budget.
QUETTA:
The newly elected three-membered Balochistan cabinet took oath on Wednesday during a ceremony held at the Balochistan Assembly in Quetta, Express News reported.
Sanaullah Zehri, Abdul Rahim Ziarat and Nawab Muhammad Khan Shahwani among other cabinet members took oath. Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai administered the oath.
Earlier, a report stated that the provincial coalition government, under the Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, had not named the cabinet. With the finance portfolio unassigned, the chief minister would be presenting the budget on Thursday.
The coalition parties were facing difficulties in deciding who will get the most important portfolios.
However, it was anticipated that following the 18th amendment in the Constitution, there will be less number of ministers in the cabinet and it will be difficult to accommodate a large number of ministers.
