Connecting The Nation: ‘Pakistan needs broadband highway’
This was stated by Microsoft Pakistan Country Manager Amir Rao in a media talk at the Islamabad office on Tuesday.
ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan is an emerging economy and a developing country where the need for a national broadband highway is inevitable to connect the country and put it on the track of e-education, transparency and employability.
This was stated by Microsoft Pakistan Country Manager Amir Rao in a media talk at the Islamabad office on Tuesday.
“Information Technology is developing at an ever fast pace across the world and 3G technologies are now being replaced by 4G,” he said, adding that Pakistan had to abandon the idea of issuing licence for 3G network and work for 4G instead with a 700 megahertz frequency.
