Crime: 524 criminals arrested
Police have arrested 23 court absconders, 268 proclaimed offenders.

Police have arrested 524 criminals from various parts of Faisalabad in a series of raids since June 1. Police have arrested 23 court absconders, 268 proclaimed offenders, 102 people in possession of illicit weapons, 106 drug peddlers and 25 people in possession of liquor, police spokesman Ameer Nasir Javed said. Police recovered 79 pistols , 12 shot guns, nine Kalashnikovs, five rifles, three carbines, two revolvers, a dagger, 865 bullets/cartridges, 3.9 kilograms heroin, 10.930 kilograms hashish, 25 liters of un-bottled liquor and 573 bottles of liquor, and unearthed a distillery.
