Restoring the judiciary: CJ acknowledges lawyers’ role

He said that the judiciary had to work harder for discharging their responsibilities.

LAHORE: Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said on Saturday that lawyers had played their due role in the restoration of the judiciary and establishing the rule of law and supremacy of the constitution.

Addressing a ceremony of newly-enrolled lawyers for the Supreme Court of Pakistan at the Lahore registry, he said that the judiciary had to work harder for discharging their responsibilities.
