Flood prevention: CM reviews pre-monsoon arrangements
After the 2012 rains and floods, 76 development schemes were approved, 71 have been completed.

Arrangements for the approaching monsoon season were reviewed by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah at a meeting on Friday.
The irrigation secretary, Babar Afandi, updated the meeting about the condition of protective levees and rain drainage in Sindh.
After the 2012 rains and floods, 76 development schemes were approved, 71 have been completed and the remaining will be done by the end of June 2013.
