Nationalistic stance: JUI sends 22-point agenda to PM
The letter called for implementation of Thar Coal Power project and release of river water to end water shortage.

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Sindh (JUI) has sent 22-point agenda to the federal government through a letter addressed to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
In the letter by JUI general secretary, Dr Khalid Mahmood Soomro, the party demanded an end to the Zulfikarabad project and called for a massive budget for the flood-affected people. The share of the NFC award should be given on the basis of revenues generated. The letter called for the implementation of the Thar Coal Power project and the release of river water to end the water shortage. Locals should be hired at all oil and gas fields, it said.
“All the closed industries should be made functional and more industries should open to deal with unemployment.”
