PESHAWAR:
A dust storm hit the Peshawar valley on Thursday evening, offering respite from the intense heat that had gripped the area since a few days.

Director Meteorological Office Mushtaq Ali Shah said the dust storm was of medium intensity and average speed of wind was recorded around 30 kilometres per hour, whereas the maximum speed was recorded at up to 50 kilometres per hour. The dust storm was also followed by a thunder storm.
