ECP orders re-polling in Hafizabad NA-103
An independent candidate was earlier declared winner in the constituency
ISLAMABAD:
Taking notice of rigging complaints in Hafizabad NA-103, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday annulled the results for the constituency and ordered re-polling.
The ECP said numerous complaints were received regarding this constituency.
The commission also ordered investigation against the district election commissioner and 37 presiding officers, Express News reported.
The ECP said the record of voters who showed up for voting was not kept.
Liaquat Bhatti, an independent candidate, was earlier declared winner in the constituency.
